Note on versions 3.6.1 – 3.6.4
Desktop version 3.6.1 shipped on 2026-08-05 and is documented as a full entry in the changelog. Versions 3.6.2 and 3.6.3 existed only as internal version bumps (2026-06-09 and 2026-07-08) with no published artifacts, no git tags and no release documentation — the mainline version number then dropped back to 3.5.6. Version 3.6.4 never existed at all: an exhaustive search across every ref, every commit message and every file-content diff (git log -S) returns zero hits.
