Terms of Service

By accessing or using Doforu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Doforu is an AI desktop assistant offering AI chat, music generation, image creation, and more. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

Independent Product Statement: Doforu is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other AI model provider. You use your own API key to communicate directly with these providers; Doforu acts solely as a desktop client software providing a convenient interface.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

To use Doforu, you must have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the service only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@doforu.ai and we will take steps to delete such information.

You agree not to use Doforu for:

• Any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Generating harmful, violent, discriminatory, sexually explicit, NSFW, or sexually suggestive content
• Infringing upon intellectual property rights of others
• Distributing malware or conducting cyber attacks
• Circumventing technical limitations or security measures

Paid subscriptions are processed securely through Creem.io, our Merchant of Record. Creem.io handles all payments, taxes, and compliance matters on our behalf. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the current period.

Refund Policy: We offer unconditional refunds within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All refund requests are processed through Creem.io and are typically returned to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. To request a refund, please contact us at support@doforu.ai. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle.

The Doforu software, design, trademarks, and branding elements are the intellectual property of Doforu. AI-generated content belongs to you, and you grant us the necessary license for technical processing to provide the service.

Without our express written permission, you may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Doforu desktop application. You may not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, distribute, or transfer any rights in the software.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doforu and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of Doforu, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Doforu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or inappropriate; use at your own discretion.

Important: Doforu and the underlying AI models are not intended for use in critical decision-making scenarios, including but not limited to medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial investment, aviation navigation, or safety-critical systems. Any risk arising from using Doforu in these scenarios is solely your responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doforu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through account settings to terminate the agreement.

We may modify these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for arbitration in accordance with its then-effective arbitration rules. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.

If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction may give you additional rights that cannot be waived, and these rights take precedence over any contrary provisions in these Terms.
